Duo Axis

Wei-Han formed Duo Axis with flutist Zach Sheets in 2014 with a goal of presenting vibrant performances of music both new and old. The duo champions the thrilling potential of authentic duo playing, commissioning new works each season, and has performed throughout the US and Europe, in recitals, teaching engagements, and community-based events.

The [Switch~ Ensemble]

A new music ensemble for the 21st Century, the [Switch~ Ensemble] is dedicated to the creation of new works for chamber ensemble, bringing bold new acoustic, electroacoustic, and multimedia projects to life. [Switch~] strives for compelling artistry achieved through the seamless creation, production, and execution of new music, and believes that working directly with composers—in a medium where the score is a point of departure rather than a finish line—allows for new and thrilling musical possibilities. Wei-Han has performed with and conducted the ensemble since 2010.

The Washington Chorus

Wei-Han serves as pianist for the Washington Chorus, one of the foremost symphonic choruses in the US. Noted for the superb artistry of its performances and recordings of the entire range of the choral repertoire, TWC is widely recognized as a cultural leader in the nation’s capital.

Choralis

Wei-Han serves as associate conductor and keyboard artist for Choralis, established in 2000 to nurture a passion for choral music through excellent choral performances, professional development opportunities for young soloists and conductors, education and training for young choristers, and community outreach events. Nearly 100 singers perform across two ensembles: Choralis, an auditioned SATB chorus and Ēchos, a semi-professional chamber group Lauded by reviewers for The Washington Post and other publications. Choralis annually presents a season of choral masterworks as well as works by contemporary composers and world music.
